About the Book:

When Amelia Anderson’s best friend gets married and she finds herself the last single girl left in a room filled with couples, she wonders if it’s time to start dating again.

Enter the Dating Plan. Her helpful friends devise a plan to get her back out there and really, what could go wrong? They have a colour-coded binder to guide them, after all!

What ensues, however, is a string of dates so disastrous, it’s enough to have Amelia vowing to remain single forever.
The only bright side in this dismal dating experiment? Jake Johnson, her ex-boyfriend’s older brother, who keeps coming to her rescue. Making her feel safe, protected…special.

Jake has always been that guy for her. The one who represented everything she was scared to want, so she settled for what she thought she deserved. And now he’s back in her life and is stirring up all these feelings that she’s struggling to ignore. Amelia can’t forget that he’s off-limits for her.

But if that is true, why does it feel that in a sea of all these Mr Wrongs, he may actually be her Mr Right?

My Thoughts:

A dating plan, caring friends and one very curious and every present ex-boyfriend’s brother. What could go wrong with this formula?

Belinda Mary once again brings to us a wonderfully light-hearted romantic comedy, complete with mis steps, funny moments and a swoon worthy romance. I read this book as a part of the author’s ARC team and fell in love with it from the start. This was the kind of book that I read from start to finish in one go, with no stops on the way.

Amelia and Jake brought so much to this story, each with their own quirky thoughts and interesting personalities, with some help from friends we’ve known and loved and feel happy to meet again (this will make sense for those who have read Belinda Mary’s previous books)!

This is a wonderful read, fun and full of laughter, the right kind of book to come out of a reading slump or just to fall in love! Take a chance with our two wonderful MCs as they find love and happiness after a series of disasters of course!

About the Book:

Autumn is a time of snuggly sweaters, crisp breezes, and…. sexy, broody werewolves?

When I inherit a magical house in the beautiful seaside village of Charming Cove, it’s just what I need to turn my dismal life around. Fresh off a bad breakup and with magic that I’ve ignored for a decade, I’m ready to rekindle my inner witch.

The catch? The house is inhabitable until I renovate it, and the only place to live is with a brooding, rugged boat-builder who definitely doesn’t want me in his space. Though there’s no denying the electric spark between us, neither of us is willing to act on it.

To make things more complicated, I have to renovate the house in thirty days or I’ll lose it. But the house hates anyone who enters it and attacks with loose floorboards and horrific odors. I can’t get a single contractor in Charming Cove to help me out.

That leaves only one option—convince my new roommate to help me until I can untangle the mystery of why my new home is so moody. It’ll mean spending every day with the sexy, infuriating werewolf, but I’ll do whatever it takes to make my dreams a reality.

Romance Rules for Werewolves is a fun, frothy romantic comedy full of laughter, love, and magical hijinks. It’s the third in a series of stand alone romances set in the seaside village of Charming Cove and the books do not need to be read in order.

Author Bio:

Before becoming a writer, Linsey was an archaeologist who studied shipwrecks in all kinds of water, from the tropics to muddy rivers (and she has a distinct preference for one over the other). After a decade of tromping around in search of old bits of stuff, she settled down to start penning her own adventure novels and is freaking delighted that people seem to like them. Since life is better with a little (or a lot of) magic, she writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

My Thoughts:

This is another Charming Cove romance that I just fell in love with. The story follows Isobel as she tries to fix up her late grandmother’s house within 30 days as stipulated in her will. If she does not succeed, she doesn’t inherit the house. However, this is not as easy as it sounds since the house is enchanted and seems to have a mind of its own.

As Isobel navigates the enchanted house as well as a moody werewolf roommate who is living in the boathouse, we see a lot of ups and downs, many hilarious moments with the house and a whole lot of fun and love! A budding romance, Isobel coming into her own with her magic and the whole town coming together once again to help are all part of this lovely plot.

I truly enjoyed reading this book and the banter between Isobel and Rafe as they get to know one another is the best part of the story. As Isobel unravels the mystery of Rafe’s past, we also get to know more about him and the curse on him. I absolutely adored Isobel’s familiar and the Lavender House is definitely a hero in my opinion!

This is a wonderful cozy romance with magical moments and so many fun tropes including enemies-lovers, forced proximity with a charming set of characters who all come together and prove to us that Charming Cove is indeed a warm and wonderful place to live in. There is a feeling of togetherness and family among all the magical folk that just tugs at the heart-strings and makes for a very happy and light read!

About the Book:

The secret to Brooks’s success as a Manhattan gym owner? Being motivated to disprove everyone who ever doubted him. So he’s not about to let a perky newcomer like Izzy tarnish his reputation. Even if watching her lead a salsa class on his premises gets his own heartbeat raised…

His beautiful British rival

Every time influencer Izzy slams Brooks in her fitness blog, her book sales soar. But when their escalating media feud forces them to be up-close-and-personal for two weeks, she realizes there’s much more to Brooks than that lean and muscled body.

And a competition that’s got their hearts racing…

Soon Izzy and Brooks are finding all kinds of creative ways to work up a sweat. A passionate workout is easy, but can their rivalry give way to a lasting partnership?

My Thoughts:

Two to Tango is a fun filled rom com that follows Brooks and Izzy as they interact with one another. The story starts off with a rivalry between the two main characters and eventually turns to love.

It was easy to read and follow the story and though quite predictable, it was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the characters and the close bonds that they share, especially Brooks and his circle of friends. What was unique for me about this story was the career path of the two characters. It was refreshing to read about what they do and the passion that they had for the same was well portrayed by the author. Through many ups and downs, Brooks and Izzy find a common rhythm and understanding, adapting their ways to incorporate the best of both their ideas.

Things do come together in the end and sometimes, it brings out the best! I think this classic enemies to lovers rom com is just what all of us need to come out of a stressful day or just unwind.
